We had a lot of fun these past two weeks as we hosted 4 girls from the International Tennis Federation who were here competing in a tournament. Two of them were Americans, one was Italian and the other was Vietnamese. They all spoke English which made it that much more fun. I loved being able to watch so much tennis and to be apart of the tennis world for two weeks. This level is amazing to watch- they hit the ball so hard and are so well controlled, yet they are technically at the "bottom" of the rankings trying to earn points to move up to a higher level.
Mer and I had loved getting to know the girls, each with their distinct personalities. We took them out for some good Tacos Bachomos (a couple of times) and then we ate a lot of meals together at home too. Giada, the Italian, even cooked us a good Italian pasta dish (thanks Giada it was great).
We had a lot of fun and hope to get mom and dad out here next year to enjoy the fun with us.
